JOE AND SHELBYWEBSITE
ABOUT JOE AND SHELBY
Across the world there are an estimated 1 billion Muslims who are considered unreached (less than 2% of people are known Christians). Of those, there are 1,108 Muslim people groups that remain completely unengaged (having no known Christians among them). By partnering with churches and passionate people, our hope is that by 2025 that number will have fallen to zero. Joe and Shelby are moving their family into the heart of it all. They are ministering to some of the hardest areas of the Muslim world and winning the hearts of the unreached. connect directly with us to know how you can better understand how you can financially support and pray for this amazing family.
SERVING HIS CHILDRENWEBSITE
In September of 2007, Renee Bach at the age of 18 left her home in VA and traveled to Uganda to volunteer at an orphanage in the town of Jinja. While there, the Lord opened many doors to serve and fall in love with the people; her 6 month stay turned into 9 and her heart was torn by the contrast of her comfortable life in America and the extreme needs of the people she had grown to love. After a prayerful time back in America, she began the process of forming a non-profit ministry that could make a difference to the hurting people of Uganda. In the fall of 2008, Serving His Children became a reality.
“Bringing hope and restoration to the imprisoned children of Africa, in Jesus’ name.” Not long ago a woman was on her way out of Kampala and drove past a dilapidated old sign that read “M”: Rehabilitation Center for Children. She was drawn to learn more about the place so she turned down a long, winding dirt road until she came to the end. To her horror, she found rooms of children locked up, young kids chained to windows, and even a 10 day old, malnourished and living in her own urine. She saw hundreds of children with little food and no supervision. As horrific as this was, on that day God began a glorious story of redemption for these children.
