2 Timothy 3:16 – All Scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
2 Peter 1:21 – for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke [as they were] moved by the Holy Spirit.
These two scriptures tell us how we got the Bible. This is why the Bible is the oldest book today and has stood the test of time. God is the true auther of this powerful book. It is a collection of manuscripts compiled by men who were inspired by God. They were put together many generations later by different men and they gave to us the Bible we have today. Millions of Bibles have been burnt. The men and women who have tried to get it into the hands of all people and nations have been imprisoned or burnt alive. But today it is the most published book in the world! It reveals the true heart of God and it touches the hearts and lives of people of all generations, languages and cultures. Although the human race is made up of many cultures, philosophies and religions, we are all made in the image and likeness of god who created all things. This makes us all the same; therefore the Word of God is needed by all races of people. We all are made of the same kind of flesh, bone, blood and hair; our only difference is the color, size, shape, and DNA. We all breathe the same air, drink the same water, and eat a variety of food that comes from the earth. We all have an appetite for food, enjoy fun, have likes and dislikes; anger is the same and causes the same results. Many more things could be listed here that shows we are all made the same. We all have acted the same and sinned against God; therefore we all need the same Savior, who is Jesus Christ. He died for all of us. He can be seen in every book of the Bible and that message is for all of us. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23. Romans 6:23 NKJV – For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Through Christ, God has reconciled us to Himself and given us eternal life.
